An open research program on how light and the sun shape human health, behaviour, and the built environment โ and how to get the benefits (bright days, dark nights, outdoor time, safe UV) without the harms. We treat sun exposure as many bundled exposures: visible light for circadian timing, UVB for vitamin D, UVA and possible nitric-oxide pathways, heat, movement, and time in nature. Safe high-evidence wedge (circadian daylight behaviour); open frontier (vitamin-D-independent sun biology) strictly as hypotheses; civic mission (daylight equity). Sun-positive, UV-literate, evidence-first.
