FILTER Phase 2 — prospective multicenter results at NASS 2026
We’re opening FILTER’s OpenLabs project with our most recent milestone. At NASS 2026 we presented Project FILTER Phase 2: a prospective, multicenter clinical evaluation across 7 French spine centers (643 first-time lumbar patients, surgeons blinded to the AI score). FILTER reduced “potential harm” — urgent cases wrongly deprioritized — to 0.3% versus 22.6% for current scheduling, and achieved a 7-fold reduction in missed prioritization, closely aligning with surgeon decisions. FILTER is a triage decision-support aid; a clinician always makes the final call. Published in The Spine Journal 26 (2026), abstract #273.
